The Arcade, Dewsbury | Win a Shop Terms & Conditions
1. The Arcade, Dewsbury Win a Shop competition opens for entries from Monday 30th June, 2025.
2. The Arcade, Dewsbury Win a Shop competition will close on Friday 25th July, 2025
3. To enter the competition, entrants must follow the instructions on the competition post and/or website, and click through to the online form, which must be completed.
4. All valid entries will be reviewed by the judging panel, who will select a shortlist of applicants. This shortlist will then be subject to a public vote, which will determine the overall winner.
5. Successful parties will contract into a lease to be excluded from Sections 24-28 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
6. The occupier will still be responsible for paying the service charge (estimated to be around £1500 a year plus VAT, dependent on shop size), and metered electricity use. There are no business rates.
7. Full fit-out is required and not provided. The occupier is eligible for these costs.
8. All entries must fit within our Tenant Recruitment Policy available on our website www.arcade-dewsbury.org/about
9. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.
10. There is no cash alternative available.
11. The winner will be notified via the contact details supplied to enter the competition.
12. By entering the promotion you accept these terms and conditions and agree to participate in any publicity associated with this promotion.
13. If the entrants fail to agree to these terms and conditions they will be automatically excluded from the promotion.
14. The promoter and partners have arranged this competition in good faith and cannot accept liability in any matter relating to the competition whatsoever.
15. The entrant’s personal information (name) will not be passed on to any third parties other than where legally or contractually obliged.
16. Employees of The Arcade, Dewsbury and their relatives can enter this competition.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage.
18. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
