34 Expressions of Interest in Arcade Shop Units.
On August 14th we invited people to come down and discuss our plans for the Arcade while enjoying some music and food. 200 odd came and the architects talked to over 50 people. An additional 6 people said they might be interested in a shop unit taking us to 34 in total for the 27 units and studios available. Not bad with 16 months to go to opening!
Not all those will complete of course, so we’re still looking for tenants.

Planning Application went in on Aug 9th
Architects BDP are pressing on with the technical specifications of the works.
Sequencing of planning approval and tendering the construction contract should mean we are on site in February ’22
In October our community business hopes to agree heads of terms with the Council for leasing the Arcade, then it is on to the community share issue
